Day 2: Pyramids of Giza and Grand Egyptian Museum

Start your morning with a delicious breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a journey through the history of ancient Egypt. Your expert guide will first accompany you to the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to one of the world’s most impressive collections of Pharaonic treasures. Marvel at artifacts from ancient tombs, including the famous golden mask of King Tutankhamun.

Next, head to the iconic Pyramids of Giza, where the grandeur of the ancient world comes alive. See the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest of the three, and explore the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure.

Don’t miss the chance to admire the enigmatic Great Sphinx, a majestic limestone statue with the body of a lion and the face of a pharaoh, which has guarded these wonders for millennia. Also visit the Valley Temple, where mummification rituals were performed, and gain a deeper understanding of Egypt’s fascinating past.

After an enriching visit, enjoy a delicious traditional Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant. Then, return to your hotel for relaxing afternoon.

Day 3: Excursion to Alexandria

After breakfast, depart for an unforgettable excursion to Alexandria, Egypt’s historic coastal city. Upon arrival, explore the renowned Library of Alexandria, a modern-day tribute to the ancient library that once housed the world’s greatest collection of knowledge. Wander through its impressive halls filled with books, manuscripts, and digital archives.

Continue to the Citadel of Qaitbay, an imposing fortress built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Enjoy panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea as you explore the citadel’s historic walls.

Next, head to the tranquil Montazah Palace Gardens, a verdant space dotted with elegant palaces and colorful flowers. You’ll also visit St. Mark’s Church, one of Egypt’s oldest Coptic churches, before taking a stroll through Alexandria’s vibrant city center and its charming old harbor.

Enjoy a delicious lunch of fresh seafood, a local specialty, before returning to Cairo in the afternoon. Spend the night relaxing at your hotel.
