Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our friendly representative will greet you and assist you with all necessary procedures. You will then be transferred by private, air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel for check-in and to relax after your trip. Take the rest of the day to unwind and prepare for your exciting adventures in Egypt.
Day 2: Pyramids of Giza, Saqqara and Memphis
your private guide will accompany you on a fascinating tour of Egypt’s most iconic ancient sites. Your first stop will be the Pyramids of Giza, where you can marvel at the monumental structures of Khufu (the Great Pyramid), Khafre, and Menkaure, which have stood for over 4,500 years.
You’ll also encounter the magnificent Great Sphinx, a limestone statue with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, which guards the Giza plateau. Then, visit the Valley Temple of Khafre, an ancient burial site used for purification and mummification rituals.
Afterwards, enjoy a traditional Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant before continuing on to Saqqara, home to the oldest stone structure in the world: the Step Pyramid of Djoser.
Finally, explore Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, where you can admire fascinating artifacts at the Memphis Open Air Museum, including the colossal statue of Ramses II. At the end of the tour, you will return to your hotel for a restful night.
Day 3: Grand Egyptian Museum, Citadel of Cairo and Khan el-Khalili
embarking on another exciting day of exploration. Begin your tour with a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of artifacts from ancient Egypt, including all the treasures from King Tutankhamun’s tomb.
Then, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before heading to the Citadel of Cairo, a medieval fortress built by Saladin in the 12th century, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Inside the citadel, you’ll visit the iconic Mosque of Muhammad Ali, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, famous for its Ottoman-style domes and minarets.
Your last stop of the day will be the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, Cairo’s oldest market, where you can wander through alleyways filled with traditional crafts, spices, jewelry, and souvenirs. After this immersive experience, you’ll return to your hotel.
Day 4: Aswan Tour from Cairo
You’ll take a morning flight to Aswan, a picturesque city on the banks of the Nile. Upon arrival, you’ll begin your tour with a visit to the impressive Aswan High Dam, a monumental structure that controls the flow of the Nile and provides hydroelectric power to the region.
Next, you will explore the Unfinished Obelisk, a huge ancient obelisk that reveals fascinating details about ancient Egyptian stone carving techniques.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the beautifully restored Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis and located on Agilkia Island. After an inspiring day, you will be transferred to your hotel in Aswan to rest.
Day 5: Temples of Abu Simbel and return to Cairo
Begin your day with an early morning departure for the magnificent Temples of Abu Simbel, famous for their colossal statues and intricately carved interiors. These majestic rock-hewn temples, built by Ramses II, are a testament to the architectural genius of ancient Egypt.
After exploring Abu Simbel, you will return to Aswan to catch your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Final Departure
After enjoying your last breakfast in Egypt, our representative will escort you to Cairo International Airport in a private, air-conditioned vehicle for your return flight. Say goodbye to Egypt with unforgettable memories of your incredible journey through its ancient wonders.
