Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Welcome to Egypt, the land of ancient treasures and timeless wonders! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our friendly representative will greet you and assist with immigration and baggage procedures. You will then be transferred by private, air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. After check-in, you can relax and unwind, preparing for the exciting adventure that awaits you.
Day 2: Pyramids of Giza, Grand Egyptian Museum and Khan El Khalili
Your guide will accompany you to one of the world’s most iconic sites: the Pyramids of Giza. Here you will see the impressive pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, which have stood majestically for over 4,500 years.
Next, visit the Great Sphinx, the enigmatic limestone statue with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, a symbol of strength and wisdom. You will also explore the Valley Temple, where mummification rituals were once performed.
After a tasty lunch at a local restaurant, continue your adventure at the Grand Egyptian Museum, the world’s largest archaeological museum, which houses a vast collection of ancient artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun.
End your day by strolling through the lively alleyways of Khan El Khalili bazaar, a historic market where you can buy traditional handicrafts, jewelry, and aromatic spices.
Day 3: Excursion to Alexandria
Head to the beautiful Mediterranean city of Alexandria. Your first stop will be the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, an underground necropolis that blends Egyptian, Greek, and Roman architectural styles.
Next, visit Pompey’s Column, an imposing granite column erected in honor of Emperor Diocletian.
After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, continue to the Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th-century fortress built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria.
Finally, explore the modern Library of Alexandria, a tribute to the largest library of the ancient world, which houses a vast collection of books, rare manuscripts, and exhibits. In the afternoon, return to Cairo to rest.
Day 4: Flight to Luxor – East Shore Tour
Take a flight to Luxor, known as the world’s largest open-air museum. Upon arrival, begin your tour of the East Bank of the Nile, starting with the magnificent Temple of Karnak. Walk through its grand hypostyle hall, surrounded by soaring columns and intricate carvings.
Next, visit Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and expanded by Ramses II, and admire its impressive obelisks and statues. After the tour, check in to your luxury Nile cruise, enjoy a delicious lunch on board, and relax as the ship sets sail.
Day 5: Luxor’s West Bank and sailing towards Edfu
Explore Luxor’s legendary West Bank, starting with the Valley of the Kings, where you’ll enter the elaborate tombs of the ancient pharaohs, including the famous tomb of Tutankhamun.
Next, visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, an architectural masterpiece built in honor of Egypt’s most powerful queen. End your morning with a stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two imposing statues of Amenhotep III.
Return for lunch and begin your journey south. In the evening,where you can dress up in traditional Egyptian costumes.
Day 6: Temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo
Visiting the Temple of Edfu, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Marvel at its towering columns, intricate carvings, and monumental statues.
Return to Kom Ombo, where you’ll explore the unique double temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. After your visit, continue to Aswan while enjoying dinner and onboard entertainment.
Day 7: Aswan City Tour
Today you’ll discover Aswan’s main attractions, starting with a visit to the High Dam, a modern engineering marvel that regulates the flow of the Nile River. Then, you’ll take a boat to the Temple of Philae, an impressive island temple dedicated to the goddess Isis.
You’ll also visit the Unfinished Obelisk, a gigantic ancient obelisk that remains in its original quarry due to a crack that formed during its construction. After the tour back relax and have dinner.
Day 8: Excursion to Abu Simbel and flight to Cairo
Early in the morning, embark on an unforgettable excursion to the temples of Abu Simbel, two enormous rock-hewn temples built by Ramses II. Admire the colossal statues of the pharaoh and Queen Nefertari, and learn about the incredible relocation project that saved the temples from being submerged by Lake Nasser. After the visit, return to Aswan and catch your flight back to Cairo.
Day 9: Free day in Cairo
Enjoy a free day in Cairo. You can explore the city at your own pace, visit local attractions, or do some last-minute souvenir shopping. Take this time to relax and reflect on the incredible trip you’ve had.
Day 10: Final departure
It’s time to say goodbye to Egypt. you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight. You will take away unforgettable memories of ancient monuments, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality.
